Make
your own film at an Aardman animation workshop.
Participants are guided on how
to make their own short stop-frame animated film using a free app, “Aardman
Animator”. The 1.5 hour workshop will be held by a member of the award winning
Aardman team. The workshop will cover simple but effective animation techniques
that beginners can easily apply to bring their stories to life. Participants
will make a simple character, plan their story using a storyboard template,
create a set, be guided through techniques of stop-frame animation to create
their film. At the end of the session the animations will be shown on screen!
Instructions for downloading the app will be sent after ticket booking. Each participant will need a fully charged mobile phone or tablet.
